Fascia is life. When the fascia gets injured we feel it as pain. When the injuries get more widespread or deeper it can disturb movement or the flow of energy which can lead to illness or disease.
The aim of the FDM therapist is to repair the injury to the fascia so that movement returns to normal. Pain doesn't have to be forever.
FDM (Fascial Distortion Model) was created by Stephen Typaldos, an osteopathic doctor from Maine, USA. He died unexpectedly in 2006 but FDM continues to flourish in Germany and worldwide.
